• ·         Static Routes with Next Hop as an Exit Interface or an IP Address
• ·         Adding a Static Route by only specifying the outgoing interface

Interface Based

• ·        In the above picture, R2`s Serial IP address is not known to configure 30.0.0.0 route
• ·         Instead of R2’s Serial IP Address, we are giving R1 Exit interface to reach 30 network

R1 (config) #ip route 30.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 s2/0

R2 (config) #ip route 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 20.0.0.1
